During Boy, choreographer Niek Wagenaar embarks on a deeply personal and vulnerable journey of reflecting his innermost world. In a fully improvised score, an ethereal yet dynamic physical language mirrors the self as the performer passes stages of grinding self-exploration and meditative transcendence.

As a solo reflection on his award-winning debut Nymphs, which was created for an ensemble of five dancers, Boy explores the crises of identity, non-conformity and masculinity.
